Prompted by feedback from the marketplace, Republic Storage Systems has redesigned the friction catch used in conjunction with the Single Point II Locker series. All recent orders for Single Point II Lockers are being supplied with the updated parts in order to benefit from this improvement.

The updated design utilizes a two-part system. A ball type, spring steel latch, which protrudes through a hole in the door perimeter engages a strike plate mounted to the inside perimeter of the frame. Both components are factory riveted during the manufacturing process.

We are pleased this system has proven to be an effective solution to the friction catch element of the Single Point II Locker's overall operation. Factory installation of the parts is an additional benefit the system provides.
