We designed our single tier heavy-duty ventilated lockers to meet the harsh environment of an athletic locker room. Republic metal gym lockers are proven to be easier to install. They are more trouble-free than any other locker on the market. Our ventilated gym lockers feature diamond perforations on both the doors and sides. This helps to increase air flow so that stored items can stay dry and cool.

Republic makes our single tier heavy-duty steel lockers from cold-rolled steel. The doors are 14-gauge steel on all sizes of these heavy-duty vented Metal Lockers. The locker frames and body parts are 16-gauge steel while the backs are 18-gauge steel. We lap and weld the frame corners for added strength. We weld the full loop, nested hinges to the door frames and then double-rivet them to the doors to prevent hinge failure. Each locker comes with 6-inch-high legs for toe room at the bottom. We offer our heavy-duty ventilated lockers in our 34 colors. The powder coat paint finish will help protect your steel lockers from everyday use.

Sizes and Tiers

Republic single tier heavy-duty ventilated lockers are available in multiple widths and depths. Our tier lockers come with a recessed handle with plastic-protected lifting trigger that will accept a user provided padlock for added security.

Assembly and Installation

You can order your new single tier heavy-duty ventilated lockers either unassembled or assembled. Putting these lockers together in the field is easy using nuts and bolts. You can also have Republic professionally assemble your new steel gym lockers before shipping them. We will use pop rivets instead of nuts and bolts for a strong and durable assembly. When installing your Republic lockers, make sure that they are properly anchored to either the wall or floor or both if possible. We have foot anchors available to provide a surface for anchoring a locker with legs like these lockers for a gym locker room.

Locks and Accessories

Republic has different Built-In Lock Options available for our single tier heavy-duty ventilated lockers. Upgrade your lockers with either combination or key locks. We have a full selection of sloped tops and closed bases to help give your commercial gym lockers a finished look. Finally, don’t forget to add a Republic Number Plate. We punch the locker doors so you can easily attach the plate. Number plates help people identify and find their lockers.
