Now you can easily buy metal shelving components and replacement shelves for your Republic 2000 series industrial shelving. Replacement shelves come in different sizes and gauges. The steel shelving uprights come in either open or closed versions. Use these items to either add on to your storage solution or replace old parts. Republic has been a shelving industry leader for over a century.

Metal Shelf Uprights

Republic metal shelving components include uprights. Each section of Republic 2000 series industrial metal shelving requires 4 shelving uprights. We make our boltless shelving uprights out of durable, tough hot-rolled steel. The sides are slotted to fit our metal shelf clips. One row of slots are keyhole slots so you have a place to attach the side cross braces. If you have 2000 series shelving, you have the choice of either angle or beaded posts. Beaded posts are only used for the front side of shelving.

These metal shelving components come in either Open or Closed styles. Open sections have metal cross braces for shelves to add rigidity. Closed sections of shelving have solid sides and backs. Depending on the shelving, upright assemblies are available which include uprights and either side panels or metal shelf cross braces to make installation easy.

Other metal shelving components for Republic shelving include our Metal Box Shelves. Each box shelf includes four shelf clips. Shelf clips let you adjust shelves on 1-½-inch-centers with no tools. Depending on the shelf size and type, it will have a different weight capacity. Capacities start at 300 lbs and go all the way up to 1,150 lbs. Our metal storage shelves will work with either open or closed sections.

The 2000 series box shelf comes in a 20-gauge heavy-duty version. They are excellent for your more common every day storage needs. We punch our metal box shelves with holes to attach various accessories to add functionality to your shelving units. This includes dividers, label holders, and bin fronts.
